Video: Watch the Lingenfelter Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 hit 202 mph
Earlier this month Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) announced that its modified Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 hit a top speed 202 mph. The tuner company has now released a video of the Camaro ZL1 hitting that top speed figure and you can check it all out below.
Lingenfelter Camaro ZL1 modification packages come in three levels – a 630-hp package, a 700-hp package and a 720-hp package.
Power for the stock 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 comes from a LSA 6.2L supercharged V8 making 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. 0 to 60 mph comes in just 4 seconds when mated to the manual transmission and 3.9 when mated to the automatic. Top speed comes in at 180 mph for the manual and 184 for the automatic. Prices start at $54,995.

Watch a bridge go kaboom under 153 pounds of explosives
When a bridge like the Fort Steuben Bridge in Ohio is declared structurally unsound for cars to drive over, the only thing left to do is strap 153 pounds of explosives to it and let it crumble in a blaze of fire.
It’s all over in a matter of seconds, but keep watching and you’ll see the replay of the demolition in slow motion. Those with sensitive ears might want to turn the volume down a little as the sound of the bridge collapsing is pretty loud.
Don’t tell me that wasn’t fun to watch. Thankfully, no people were hurt. Now, how about getting a new bridge up so the people who live in Steubenville, Ohio and Weirton, West Virginia can visit one another easily again?

Rivers of molten lava high up Pulama Pali on Hawaii Island
A surge of lava spews out of a rupture in the lava tube system and is heading down steep cliffs, or pali in Hawaiian. This strong flow is being supplied lava from Kilauea Volcano’s Pu`u O`o Crater four miles to the northwest. The rupture was at the 1600-foot elevation about four miles northwest of Kalapana Gardens, and directly above the old Royal Gardens subdivision.
